Abhi (he/him) joined StepStones in 2023 as a Development Coordinator. Originally from India, he has lived in the U.S., Scotland, and (now) Canada. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Simon Fraser University. He is passionate about the ethical side of deep-rooted structural problems such as homelessness, intergenerational poverty, food justice, and educational inequity. Having previously worked and volunteered in the non-profitsector in a variety of roles, he brings with him experience in fundraising, grant writing, event planning, and educational programming. He particularly enjoys working with young people and students, and has held leadership roles in student affairs and residence life throughout college and graduate school. When not working, he enjoys running, meditating, volunteering, and reading about ethics and political philosophy.
