Jessica Kumordzie joined the StepStones family in early 2020. She received her Honours B.A. with a double degree in Political Science and Peace & Conflict Studies, with a double minor in Speech Communications and International Studies at the University of Waterloo.
She has several years of experience with youth and mentorship programs, summer camps, event planning, transitional shelters and working with survivors of human trafficking.
Jessica is fiercely passionate about empowering and inspiring girls and women, and founded the Young Queens Collective (YQC) in 2016 – an initiative that strives to cultivate a safe space for connection, mentorship & programming for women of colour.
Inher free time, Jess enjoys making skincare products, baking, dancing to AfroBeats, and binge watching Australian reality shows!
