Here to Help is a program for kids aged four to 16 and their moms who live in families where abuse has occurred. The program is designed to help youth learn positive coping techniques and end the cycle of violence.

SALCO’s aims to provide access to justice for low-income South Asians in Toronto and the GTA. They provide legal advice and services in various areas of poverty law, including: immigration, Human Rights, Ontario Works / Ontario Disability Support Program, Tenant’s rights, Criminal Injuries Compensation, Old Age Security and Canadian Pension Plans (CPP). They also provide legal support for women who are being forced or have been forced into marriage.

This service is for women who have recently been the victim of sexual abuse and domestic violence.  Women can go 24/7 and get immediate support, collection forensic evidence, safety planning, short term counselling (up to 20 sessions) for ONLY women who have accessed the emergency services, emergency and follow up medical care.

Victim Crisis Response Program assists people in crisis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the immediate aftermath of crime or tragedy. They provide on-site or over the phone crisis intervention. Counsellors speak to victims with regards to concerns for  personal safety and options available to them. Our intervention ensures the victim is safe, emotionally stabilized and connected to the appropriate support services. Referrals to community agencies that offer on-going support are also provided.
