Denise Ballon

Connection Coordinator

Denise completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences at Brock University and Advanced Diploma in Child & Youth Care at George Brown College. She has worked in different residential settings with young people from various populations, such as youth living with complex mental health, homeless youth, and human trafficking survivors. Denise joined StepStones because she believes that everyone deserves unconditional support, no matter where they come from. She uses a youth-centred approach to allow them to have a voice and help them navigate through the barriers that limit their full potential. Denise loves watching movies (she worked at Cineplex for almost 10 years!), going to concerts, trying new foods, and singing along to 2000s R&B on her drives home from work.
