Shuah is a lawyer by training, and has worked in the child welfare sphere for the last 13 years. She oversaw legal services for 16- and 17- year olds at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, with the Ministry of the Attorney General in Ontario. Inspired by the work that she saw being done at StepStones, for youth in and from the care system, Shuah is on a leave from her legal work to develop some new initiatives with StepStones. She continues to be in awe of the frontline team and the organization!
